The Cover picture clearly demonstrates that good quality high resolution 15 N‐NMR spectra (0.1 Hz resolution) can now be measured even at natural isotope abundance (0.37%). Top: Proton‐coupled INEPT 15 N‐NMR spectrum of 2‐acetylpyridine (nonselective polarization transfer of the protons). Bottom: The same spectrum with selective decoupling of the methyl protons. In view of the ubiquitous occurrence of nitrogen and its indispensability for all living processes it can be safely predicted that 15 N‐NMR spectroscopy will rapidly increase in importance. Further details are reported by W. von Philipsborn et al. in a review on p. 383.
