Concomitant chelate‐ and η 1 ‐P‐coordination of the RNPNR ⊖ ligand, R = SiMe 3 , is observed in the complex 1 . According to an X‐ray structure analysis the exocyclic Mn‐P bond is remarkably short (multiple bond character).
