A substituent‐free Pb atom that is bonded though double bonds to two organomanganese fragments is present in complex 2 , which is surprisingly easy to prepare from the mononuclear complex 1 and PbCl 2 in tetrahydrofuran (THF). The MnPbMn skeleton is nearly linear.
