The cover page shows the crystal structure of the [Ni 34 Se 22 (PPh 3 ) 10 ] cluster. The black, dotted circles and hatched circles symbolize the differently bonded nickel atoms; the thirty phenyl groups are omitted. This amazing molecule with 448 valence electrons is obtainable in 30% yield from [NiCl 2 (PPh 3 ) 2 ] and Se(SiMe 3 ) 2 in toluene. It forms black crystals. Further details are reported by D.
