Structure elucidations are also possible for compounds with strongly overlapping 1 H‐NMR signals employing a new procedure based on the use of the heteronuclear Overhauser effect. This 1D procedure requires only relatively short measuring times, and a knowledge of the coupling constants is not necessary. The capability of the method is demonstrated on a tricyclic β‐Keto ester containing a lactone bridge.
