A similar coordination behavior as isocyanide ligands is exhibited by R 2 NPNR ligands, since bridging isocyanide ligands are replaced by trivalent phosphazenes in the synthesis of the cluster 2 from the cluster 1 . 2 represents the first cluster in which an amino(imino)phosphane is found to function as face‐bridging ligand; a μ 3 ‐η 2 ‐CNCMe 3 ligand is also present.
