The selective conversion of monoolefins into allyl acetates can be achieved using a novel catalyst system. Reaction 1 → 2 (up to 95% yield) exemplifies this. Other cycloalkenes afford 60–90% yield, while open‐chain alkenes can give rise to isomers.
