The cover shows the “spin acrobatics” of electrons and protons in double resonance experiments in a lighter vein. ENDOR studies have, for example, led to new insights into the primary processes in photosynthesis and into catalysis by flavoenzymes in biological redox chains. In addition to protons, many other nuclei exhibit the ENDOR effect. Further details are reported by H. Kurreck et al. in their review on page 173 ff.
