The novel polycycle Sn 3 N 2 O 2 is adopted by the framework of the product 1 , which is stable up to 250°C and is obtained by reaction of Me 2 Si(N t Bu) 3 Sn 2 with Sn(O t Bu) 2 . 1 is formed formally by “fusing” two trigonal SnN 2 OSn bipyramids at an SnN 2 face.
