Benzoannelated analogues of l,4‐polymethylene‐(Dewar)benzene derivatives , e.g. ( 3 ) and ( 4 ), are obtainable from the dithiapropellanes ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) (X, Y = S). ( 2 ) and ( 4 ) are chiral.
