The aromatic nature of the title compound (1) —expected on the basis of the properties of the next lower homologues—was proven by NMR spectroscopy and X‐ray structure analysis. (1) , whose synthesis is described for the first time here, is extraordinarily thermally stable: it survives flash pyrolysis at 500 °C in vacuo .
