Crystalline, air‐stable, PH 2 ‐bridged iron complexes (1) , X = Cl, Br or BPh 4 , have been prepared for the first time. The activated PH bonds enable the synthesis of derivatives, e.g. of the diferriophosphinic acid derivative (2) , a neutral dimeric compound in the crystalline state.
