Several unusual features characterize the novel organometallic cluster (1) : fluxional hydrido bridges in solution, no CO‐ligands, only π‐bonded olefin ligands, stable up to ca . 230 °C, formation from [Ir(COD)Cl] 2 and i ‐C 3 H 7 MgBr (COD = cyclooctadiene), etc .
