The high nucleophilicity of the acctimidoyl N‐itom in [C 5 H 5 Co(Pme 3 )Me(CNMe)]I enables [3+2]‐cycloadditions with acetone and acetonitrile, whose multiple bonds are only slightly activated. With acetonitrile, (1) is formed. The analogous acetimidoyl complex of rhodium forms no rhodaheterocycles.
