The newly synthesized macrocyclic polyarsanes containing three, four and six PhAs(CH 2 ) 3 ‐units, e.g. (1) , are far easier to handle than the corresponding phosphorus derivatives. On the basis of its sharp melting point (1) is considered to be stereochemically homogeneous.
