Three different isolated anionic SbSe groups —the very first selenoantimonate( III ) ions—are present in Ba 4 Sb 4 Se 11 . Formal linkage of pyramids to give dinuclear entities was not previously known for Sb III compounds. (Gray circles represent Sb; white circles Se.)
