Solid ionic conductors are a treasure trove for modern technology. Among the lithium nitride halides which have now been thoroughly studied, the thermally stable Li 1.8 N 0.4 Cl 0.6 can be utilized as thin low‐resistance layers, e.g. in printed circuits. Transfer experiments and EMF measurements confirmed that the electrolytic current flow is due to Li + ions.
