Syntheses of complexes having several different metal atoms are possible with (1) , which is obtained by ortho ‐palladation of trithiapentalene. (1) undergoes quantitative reaction with, e. g. , MoCl 5 to give [ (1) ·MoCl 3 ] x , which has yet to be characterized in detail.
