The complex lignand CS follows in the footsteps the classical ligand CO. The complex (1) , with a μ 3 ‐thiocarbonyl bridge, has now been synthesized as the missing member of the series L n MCS, L n M 2 (μ 2 ‐CS), L n M 3 (μ 3 ‐CS), long known in the case of CO.
