The cancerostatic activity of metal complexes can be tested on mice by injection of tumor cells and, 24 h later, the substance to be investigated. Compound (1) , selected partly because of its structural similarity to the antitumor agent (2) , exhibited a cure rate of over 80% in the therapeutic range.
