An intact P 4 molecule is coordinated as η 1 ligand to Ni 0 in complex (2) . X‐ray structure analysis reveals that the nickel atom is in an approximately tetrahedral environment of three phosphorus atoms of the additional ligand “np 3 ” and one phosphorus atom of the P 4 unit.
