X‐Ray structure analysis of thyrotropin‐releasing hormone (TRH) has hitherto been precluded by the reluctance of TRH to crystallize. Suitable crystals of the closely related compounds Phe 2 ‐TRH have now been obtained. The structure of this compound is characterized by slight disorder (two conformations of the proline ring).
