Novel cyclic zwitterions of type (1) , RSiMe 3 , EX n SnCl 2 , AlCl 3 , FeCl 3 , TiCl 4 , NbCl 5 have four‐membered rings with positively charged P and negatively charged metal atom. The structure of (1) , EX n −1 TiCl 3 , was confirmed by X‐ray analysis.
