Novel helical molecules , in which the helix form of the o ‐quaterphenyl skeleton is fixed by a bridge (B), have now been synthesized. Derivatives having bridges such as CH 2 SCH 2 (5‐(HO 2 C)‐1,3‐C 6 H 3 ) CH 2 SCH 2 should be resolvable into the enantiomers.
