Two stable conformers , which can be resolved by fractional crystallization, are formed by the dioxacyclooctadiene derivative (1) . This is the first such case with an eight‐membered ring system. Conformers (1a) and (1b) were identified by their 1 H‐ and 13 C‐NMR spectra.
