Totalsynthese J. Deng et al. präsentieren in der Zuschrift auf S. 17716 die kupferkatalysierte [5+2]‐Homodimerisierung von Hydroxy‐ p ‐chinon zu Bicyclo[3.2.1]octadienonen. Die Anwendung dieser Reaktion ermöglichte die neunstufige Totalsynthese von (−)‐Perezoperezon.
