Die gut verfügbare Hilfsgruppe 2‐Methoxyiminoacetyl erleichtert palladiumkatalysierte γ‐Arylierungen an C(sp 3 )‐H‐Bindungen. Das Auxiliar kann durch Behandlung mit 1 n KOH bei Raumtemperatur leicht entfernt werden; alternativ lässt es sich für Peptidsynthesen in eine Glycineinheit umwandeln.
