Kationische Pniktogen/Kohlenstoff‐Käfige werden in der Reaktion von 2,4,6‐Tri‐ tert ‐butyl‐1,3,5‐triphosphabenzol mit den Carben‐Mimetika EX 2 + (E=P, As) gebildet. Mit E=P wird 1,4‐Addition an die heteroaromatische Verbindung beobachtet, mit E=As entstehen Käfigkomplexe.
