Magische Kügelchen : Eine wirkstoffbeladene Struktur bestehend aus einer PEGylierten (PEG=Polyethylenglycol) Gold‐Nanoschale mit eingeschlossenen SiO 2 ‐Kügelchen (siehe Bild) verbindet die ferngelenkte Photothermaltherapie mit der Chemotherapie. Tumorzellen werden wirksamer und mit geringerer Giftwirkung abgetötet als mit dem freien Wirkstoff.
