Zwei Mitglieder einer Familie mariner Pyrrol‐Imidazol‐Alkaloide – (+)‐Dibromphakellin und das nichtnatürliche Kongener (+)‐Phakellin – wurden enantioselektiv aus 4‐Hydroxy‐ L ‐prolin synthetisiert. Das chirale Aminal an C10 ließ sich mithilfe einer [3,3]‐sigmatropen Overman‐Umlagerung eines Enamids effizient aufbauen (siehe Schema).
