Borromäische organische Gitter : Das starre trigonal‐pyramidale Molekül 1,3,5‐Tris(4‐carboxyphenyl)adamantan (TCA) bildet über Wasserstoffbrücken ein borromäisch verknüpftes 2D‐Gitter. Verschiedene Linker (Methanol, Phenazin, 4,4′‐Bipyridin und 4,4′‐Azopyridin) führen zu komplexeren Borromäischen Gittern oder gar zu einem polycatenierten 3D‐Gitter.
