PROM'te Synthese : Die niobvermittelte Aggregation von zwei Molekülen weißen Phosphors führt zu reaktiven Nb 2 ‐koordinierten P 8 ‐Clustern, die z. B. in Diels‐Alder‐Reaktionen umgesetzt werden können und somit einen Zugang zu phosphorreichen organischen Molekülen (PROMs) öffnen (siehe Schema; orange P, weiß C).
