Synthesegas als Formylierungsmittel ermöglicht in Gegenwart eines Palladiumkatalysators mit dem zweizähnigen Liganden 1,2‐Bis(di‐1‐adamantylphosphanylmethyl)benzol die effiziente einstufige Umwandlung von sechs‐ bis achtgliedrigen Triflaten in α,β‐ungesättigte Aldehyde (siehe Schema) sowie die Einführung einer Formylgruppe in Derivate komplexer Naturstoffe.
