4 + 4 = 8 : Die Disproportionierung von [NbI(OC[ 2 Ad]Mes) 3 (thf)] in Gegenwart von weißem Phosphor (P 4 ) resultiert in der reduktiven Kupplung zweier P 4 ‐Moleküle. Der entstehende Dimetallkomplex enthält eine reaktive Niobphosphiniden‐Einheit; ein einkerniges Hydrolyseprodukt konnte strukturanalytisch charakterisiert werden (siehe Bild: P orange, Nb violett, O rot). 2 Ad = 2‐Adamantyliden, Mes = 2,4,6‐Me 3 C 6 H 2 .
