Ein chirales Fulleren : Die erste geordnete Kristallstruktur eines Derivats des D 2 ‐symmetrischen C 76 ‐Fullerens, C 76 Cl 18 , wurde bestimmt. Das verzerrte Kohlenstoffgerüst von C 76 Cl 18 enthält verlängerte C‐C‐Bindungen und ein in dieser Form einzigartiges π‐System. Der C 76 ‐Käfig (siehe Bild; grün) ist durch zwei helicale Gürtel von Chloratomen umgeben (orange).
