Die sequenzielle Insertion von 1‐Lithio‐1,1‐dihalogenalkanen und Lithiumacetyliden in Zirconacyclopentene und Zirconacyclopentane ergibt komplexe Bicyclo[3.3.0]octene und Bicyclo[3.3.0]octane. Die Reaktion verläuft über die neuartige Umlagerung einer Zirconium‐Alkinyl‐ in eine Zirconat‐Alkenyliden‐Spezies (siehe Schema; Cp=Cyclopentadienyl).
