Silber hilft : [2+2]‐Cycloadditionen von Iminen 2 an (Alkoxymethylen)cyclopropane 1 liefern bei 80 °C und Umgebungsdruck spirocyclopropanierte 2‐Alkoxyazetidine 3 in guten bis ausgezeichneten Ausbeuten. Die gleiche Reaktion gelingt schon bei 30 °C in Gegenwart einer katalytischen Menge [Ag(fod)] (fod=6,6,7,7,8,8,8‐Heptafluor‐2,2‐dimethyl‐3,5‐octandionat).
