H wie Hülle : Die Cluster [Rh 6 (PR 3 ) 6 H 12 ][BAr F 4 ] 2 (R=Cyclohexyl, i Pr; siehe Bild: Rh rosa, P orange) nehmen unter Standardbedingungen (1 atm H 2 , 298 K) reversibel 2 H 2 ‐Moleküle auf. Dabei entstehen diskrete oktaedrische Cluster, die von 16 Hydridliganden umhüllt sind.
