Sag mir wo die Elektronen sind . Der Komplex [Pt 3 Re 2 (CO) 6 (P t Bu 3 ) 3 ] ( 1 ), der einen trigonal‐bipyramidalen Metallcluster enthält, hat 10 Valenzelektronen zu wenig. Er reagiert mit Wasserstoff unter Aufnahme von drei Äquivalenten zum Hexahydridokomplex 2 . Der Metallcluster in 2 ähnelt dem in 1 , enthält aber einen verbrückenden Hydridoliganden über jeder Re‐Pt‐Bindung. Pt blau, Re grün.
