Positiv geladen : [CHCl 2 ‐C 70 ] + , das Kation eines monoalkylierten C 70 ‐Fullerens (siehe Bild), wurde als langlebige Spezies in isomerenreiner Form durch Ionisierung des entsprechenden Fullerenols in CF 3 SO 3 H erzeugt. Kinetische Studien der Solvolyse des Chlorids CHCl 2 ‐C 70 ‐Cl ergaben ähnliche thermodynamische Stabilitäten für dieses neuartige Carbokation und das C 60 ‐Analogon [CHCl 2 ‐C 60 ] + .
