Die spontane Oxidation des Meeresschwamm‐Peptids (+)‐Milnamid A ( 1 ), die zu dem ebenfalls in der Natur vorkommenden (+)‐Milnamid D ( 2 ) führt, trat auch in der Totalsynthese von 1 auf. Darüber hinaus wurden die absoluten Konfigurationen beider Verbindungen bestimmt.
