Communication: The structure of the 85 K Bi‐Sr‐Ca‐Cu‐O superconductor has been investigated by means of high resolution electron microscopy combined with image simulation. An ordered one‐in‐five substitution of calcium by bismuth ions is proposed as the explanation for the observed superlattice formation.
