Der für oktaedrische Koordination konformativ ideal geeignete Ligand L zwingt in den diamagnetischen Komplexen 1 (grün) und 2 (blau) auch Pd II diese Koordinationsgeometrie auf und wirkt in 3 (orange‐braun) ebenfalls als dreizähniger Ligand. In allen drei Fällen sind jedoch die axialen Pd‐S‐Bindungen deutlich länger als die äquatorialen.
