Das erst 1,2‐Dihydro‐1,2‐diboret 1 (R 1 NiPr 2 , R 2 H) konnte in Form farbloser Kristalle erhalten werden. Der C 2 B 2 ‐Ring ist planar. 1 lagert sich bei 120°C in das thermodynamisch stabilere 1,3‐Dihydro‐1,3‐diboret 2 um.
