Die (Me 3 Si) 3 C‐Gruppe bewirkt, daß das Iminoboran 4 monatelang bei Raumtemperatur stabil ist. Die Synthese von 4 gelingt aus dem Aminoboran 1 mit Tris(trimethylsily)methyllithium 2 ; das Substitutionsprodukt 3 spaltet oberhalb 60°C Me 3 SiF ab; das entstehende 4 ist laut NMR‐Spektrum polar.
