Das Gerüst von Kohlenstoffsuboxid bleibt bei der Reaktion mit zwei Platin‐Komplexen erhalten. Mit (PPh 3 ) 2 Pt(C 2 H 4 ) bildet sich das Metallacyclopropan (1) , mit (PPh 3 ) 2 Pt(O 2 ) das Dioxametallacyclopentan (2).
