We apply the loop geometry underlying loop quantum cosmology to examine the cosmological singularity of the Bianchi I model. Modification of classical theory by holonomy around a loop turns a big‐bang into a big‐bounce already at the classical level. Our model has a free parameter to be determined by cosmic data.
