The temperature dependence of the thermal expansion, the dielectric constant, the pyroelectric current and the remanent polarization in polycrystalline samples of Ba(Ti 1‐ x Sn x )O 3 was measured. The influence of the external electric field and Sn‐substitution on the character of all phase transitions was investigated.
