Energy levels of the single excited 1 s 2 2 s 2 ns ( 2 S ), 1 s 2 2 s 2 np ( 2 P ), 1 s 2 2 s 2 nd ( 2 D ) and 1 s 2 2 s 2 nf ( 2 F ), n = 3‐8 states for the boron isoelectronic sequence are calculated using the simple configuration Hartree‐Fock method. Good agreement is obtained between our results and previous experimental and theoretical data.
