We reduce the F RIEDMANN models in generalized K ALUZA ‐K LEIN cosmologies, in which the ordinary space‐time is supplemented by internal factor spaces, to the motion of a tensorial mass particle in a scalar field. Some general properties of these models as well as exact solutions for the case of one internal space are discussed for different mixtures of phenomenological matter components.
